I have been a Notary Public for 20+ years and have performed many marriages and document signings. In addition to those services, I also have been providing Notary Signing Services for close to 15 of those years. Therefore, I couldn't begin to account for how many [signing assignments] I have done without looking through my past notary journals. However, I can say, that in all those years, only one closing didn't complete...and that was due to the borrower not wanting to sign, not because of any issue or mistake on my part.

I maintain my E&O insurance policy annually; but, a notary bond is not required in the State of Maine; therefore, I do not have this coverage.

I am a member in good standing with Informed Notaries of Maine (Maine's only professional organization for Notaries Public). I have been a board member of INM for 12 years and sit on the executive committee. I currently hold the seat of Immediate Past President. I have also been a member in good standing with NNA since 2002; where I obtained my certified notary signing agent status and I do hold a current status for my background screening.

My Notary commission covers all counties within the borders of Maine. The State of Maine has 16 counties, of which several are a far distance from my home office (see notes below regarding this).

I am currently available Tues-Thurs after 6pm, for scheduled appts, and Sat & Sun after 1pm. Appointments on Fri & Mon may be available, contact me and we can discuss my availability on those days.

Notes:
Assignments over 75 miles will be considered for an additional fee to defray travel expenses (also any services provided in Kennebec, York, and Sagadahoc counties are at a base rate of $95, with any add'l cost negotiated at time of assignment)*. Call and we will discuss.

I also accept assignment contacts via fax.

Edocs (docs sent to me electronically, which I must download and print out to bring to the borrowers) will be accepted for an additional $35 to defray printing costs.
