I have been in the mortgage business for 20 years as a contract conventional underwriter. The last three years was at Fannie Mae in the National Underwriting Center in Dallas, Texas as a underwriter. This position required manual review of all mortgage insurance rescission file. The Mortgage insurance companies had denied the mortgage insurance coverage for non compliance, does not meet lenders and or mortgage insurance guidelines or the documents of credit, income/employment , assets, appraisal or title does not supported or documentation is missing.. I issued the repurchase letter or rebutted the mortgage insurance companies issues.
