I assume you have several NSAs to use for signing, As You closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) daily to ensure operational plans are consistent with the recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and your internal Business Continuity Plan, I’m asking to be used as a backup for your primary NSA/LSA. I view my assignments as very important and an extension to your business. I also feel the client should know what is in the loan package, so I walk borrowers through all the important docs: the closing statement, note, the deed, CD and PCOR if in the package. Unlike other notary's, I don't just shovel the loan docs in front of the borrower and say, “sign here, I am just a notary.” I understand that I must be impartial, but not uneducated. I always make sure the client knows what they are signing by guiding them through the loan docs and leaving a copy of the doc with them if approved.
