Hi, my name is Donald Moon. I am a Vietnam Veteran. II am a Notary Public and an NNA Certified Signing Agent living in Athens Georgia. I was retired up to July of 2023. At that time, I became a Notary Public and Loan Signing Agent. Mostly because I enjoy meeting people, it also allowed me to add to my retirement income. I have been in management and customer service for most of my previous career. This seemed like a perfect fit for me. I have found that I wish I had known about this long before 2023.
It is a job I enjoy. Being retired allows me to be available for appointments at various times of the day. Over the last eight months, I have completed over 40 signings for different Signing platforms. During the same period, I performed various General Notary assignments for my own business.
I recently added a mobile office that allows me to print, scan, and upload documents shortly after the completion of a signing. I have found it to be a benefit for many of my clients.
I prefer to receive the documents with enough time to preview them before the appointed time of the signing. It creates a more relaxed signing experience when that is the case. In addition, it allows me to correct any printing errors and get answers to questions that may arise before the signing.
I understand the sense of urgency for a timely completion of the signing process. Along with the importance of accuracy in the customer signings and the notarization of all documents.
