Greetings! My name is Avery Lewis, I'm a bonded Notary serving the Washington, D.C. area. I have 5 years of experience as a Real Estate assistant where I assist Realtors in my office with pre and post closing duties. My primary responsibilities are to prepare our clients files for settlement by making sure all state required documents are included in the file and are completed correctly. I also assist with preparing closed files for office submission, again, insuring that all required documents including the fully executed HUD-1 is included. I am the sole office Notary so my duties also include conducting settlements for refinances and reverse mortgages and notarizing office documents for both our staff and clients. I have either witnessed or conducted several closings and know Washington DC Real Estate forms very well. I have thorough knowledge of closing documents and review them with my superiors on each transaction.
